Tomorrow Comes and Goes
Burning embers fill my eyes
As I with yesterday abide
And as I wander this turning tide
Tomorrow comes and goes
I find cool water to soothe my sight
My hands now hold dripping light
And as the darkness fades away
Tomorrow comes and goes
My face is wet with broken glass
A mirror shattered in my past
And as an image forms again
Tomorrow comes and goes
I squint to see the fading sun
Half is gone now almost done
Glowing orange from two to one
Tomorrow comes and goes
